2025 Winter Reading Challenge Sponsored by Beanstack and Baker & Taylor

Ready to zoom through books like a reading machine? Join us for the “Be a Reading Machine” winter reading challenge sponsored by Beanstack and Baker & Taylor! Embrace your inner reading powerhouse, set ambitious goals, and track your progress as your readers churn through books of their own choice. Every minute of reading brings your library or school closer to becoming a true reading machine.

Our eighth annual winter reading challenge, featuring our latest obsession—book vending machines, will help your readers kick off the new year with fresh resolutions and remind them that the journey of reading is fun and rewarding for all ages.

All libraries and schools are eligible to join the challenge for a chance to win one of three grand prizes or 22 honorable mention prizes from Baker & Taylor for the top-performing communities.
